SR-10 Access Planning Study

emerging_areas

InterPlan worked with Price City, Carbon County and UDOT to prepare a SR-10 South Price Corridor Preservation Agreement along a five mile segment of SR-10 from Stake Farm Road at approximately Milepost 62.8 to the US-6 Interchange near Milepost 67.8 in Price City. The overall goal of the study was to provide direction for a corridor preservation agreement to meet 30-year travel needs on SR-30 as well as determine the public street network prior to UDOT's scheduled capacity improvements. InterPlan organized a Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) and provided recommendations to allow Price City, Carbon County, and UDOT to enter into a corridor preservation agreement that identified a possible public street network as well as appropriate access management categories for SR-10. InterPlan conducted two public open houses and a public meeting over a three month period seeking input on the development of a local street network that would serve the residents of Price and Carbon County as well as determining the appropriate UDOT Access Management Categories along SR-10.
