Project Summary
As a sub-consultant, InterPlan developed travel forecasts for a multi-modal EIS and alternatives analysis. This project utilized the travel demand model to integrate roadway and transit networks to derive cost attributes and level of service. Additionally, travel demand modeling was performed for a highway component as well as light rail, commuter rail and bus rapid transit aspects. Modeled alternatives included level of service analysis, an analysis of supply and demand, and the generation of summary statistics as well as determining the transit supply characteristics needed to accommodate the forecasted transit usage.
