InterPlan has assisted the Utah Department of Transportation in the development of SNAP (Student Neighborhood Access Program), a Safe Routes to School (SR2S) initiative. InterPlan provides technical support to users of the SNAP Software, which helps users draw the suggested walking and biking routes to schools. The software is free software that operates on any Windows computer and can be downloaded at the UDOT website. InterPlan also helps UDOT maintain the base maps of schools throughout Utah (visit the UDOT page for SNAP software).
In 2008, InterPlan hosted webinar training to demonstrate the use of SNAP software. An audio/video recording of the training has been edited and is available by clicking on the links below. Once you select the video, press the arrow in the middle of your screen to start watching and listening on your workstation.
