Interests:
Planning Philosophy – One of the first things that I learned about being a good planner was becoming a resource of information for those that had questions, whether they were elected officials, colleagues, or the general public. I learned how to locate information and provide those sources and answers to those that inquired. That is what I do for clients today. They approach with a question or problem statement and I provide information and data about the topic to help them make better decisions.Personal – Vern is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He enjoys spending time with his family and volunteering with Operation Lifesaver Utah, a public nonprofit organization dedicated to ending tragic collisions, fatalities, and injuries at highway-rail grade crossings and on railroad property.
